Drivers with valid parking permits slapped with up to ‘$115 per day’ by US city over ‘four-hour time limit’

DISABLED drivers are being ticketed for violating parking rules that they had no way of being aware of in the first place.

Despite the lack of signage for the hidden parking law, the city is refusing to budge on its enforcement efforts against the disabled motorists with valid parking permits.

The law which Missouri motorists Kay Parkison and Victor Fugate broke is one that restricts cars with valid accessible parking permits to a maximum of four free hours in one spot, resulting in tickets as costly as $115.

The drivers have also received other types of tickets, with Fugate sharing he received one for “not parking close enough to the jagged sidewalk.”…
