MILTON, Wis. — A 30-year-old Fitchburg man was arrested after a multi-county police chase Tuesday morning.
The Monona Police Department responded to a call for a stolen Buick at around 11:18 p.m. due to a city-owned Flock license plate reader along Monona Drive. The Buick was allegedly seen traveling south over 60 mph near Monona Drive at Nichols Road. The supervisor attempted to pull over the stolen vehicle as it travel towards U.S. Highway 12.
According to law enforcement, the supervisor and another MOPD officer turned on their vehicle’s sirens and lights as the Buick exited onto U.S. Highway 51 from the Beltline. The driver reportedly refused to stop and drove away towards USH 51 into McFarland…
