SAN ANTONIO – The City of San Antonio’s Department of Human Services and Metro Health have finalized a plan to deliver emergency food assistance to residents hit the hardest by the ongoing pause in federal SNAP benefits.
The City’s plan focuses on low-income seniors and households with young children, identifying eligible participants through existing City and community programs to ensure resources reach those most in need.
