The tragic incident unfolded on the afternoon of November 1, when District 1 officers were called to the scene in the 7100 block of Alabama around 3:15PM after reports of a shooting, upon arrival, they found Marcoulier with gunshot wounds; he was pronounced dead at the scene, as detailed in a statement from the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department.
