WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) – A concerned mother is speaking out after she says a daycare center in Goddard left her 5-year-old daughter locked in a van. 12 News reporter Cale Chapman spoke with the woman about what happened on Tuesday and uncovered other complaints against the facility, investigated by the state.
Patience Salas said she was at work Tuesday when she received a text from her husband, asking if her daughter’s biological father had picked the 5-year-old up from daycare.
“I’d seen [the text] and was like, ‘What?’ (I) quickly called him and was like, ‘What are you talking about?,’” Salas recalled. “He’s like, ‘I’m at [Launch Pad Learning Center] and Launch Pad is saying that they did not pick Ariah up.’”…
