New Mexico gubernatorial candidate Deb Haaland dropped 811 lbs of groceries off at an Albuquerque food bank Wednesday morning and urged other New Mexicans to do the same ahead of the holiday season.
She delivered the food, which filled the bed of her pickup truck, to Roadrunner Food Bank, which is experiencing steep increases in demand amid nationwide upheaval in the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program.
