LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — Data from the Nevada Department of Education shows enrollment increased in charter schools across the state, continuing a decade-long trend.
As of Oct. 1, charter school enrollment was at 70,534 students, according to the Nevada DOE. That’s compared to enrollment being 63,609 on Oct. 1, 2024, marking a nearly 10% increase year over year.
The increase in students at Nevada charters comes as other public school districts, including the Clark County School District, are experiencing a decline.
