BorgWarner, a major industrial employer in Buncombe County that makes high-tech automotive components, is expanding to Henderson County with the contraction of $75-million facility and creation of nearly 200 jobs.

While wages vary by position, the average annual salary is expected to be $78,628 — significantly more than the county’s average wage of $51,565.
