Lowcountry Food Bank hosts multiple food giveaway amid concerns over SNAP funding

CHARLESTON COUNTY, S.C. (WCIV) — The Lowcountry Food Bank is offering several opportunities for people in need to receive food as concerns grow over potential impacts to SNAP benefits during the ongoing government shutdown.

A food giveaway will take place at the organization’s main distribution center on Morrison Drive in Charleston, beginning at 2 p.m. on Thursday
