On Sept. 19, the North Carolina Reading Service hosted its largest annual fundraiser, the New Visions Gala, a fun and festive evening with dinner, dancing, a technology showcase and a silent auction. This year’s presenting sponsor was The Orchid Group at Morgan Stanley. Additional sponsors included Seniors’ Health Insurance Information, The Durham Lions Club, Down East Radio Reading Service, Springmoor Life Care Retirement Community, Searstone Retirement Community, Raleigh Downtown Lions Club and Garner Lions Club.
