HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) – A Newburgh man was arrested on felony charges after authorities say he shot and killed his neighbor’s dog earlier this week.
According to an affidavit, a Warrick County Sheriff’s deputy was dispatched to Fall Creek Drive on Sunday after a caller reported that his dog had been shot by Joshua Moore, 40. The owner of the dog told authorities his dog had been playing with young children in the neighborhood in a non-aggressive manner. The dog owner said Moore shot the dog after it tried to approach him, noting it was not barking or growling or showing any aggression.
