MARSHALL, Mich. (WOOD) — A car drove into a fountain in Marshall early Thursday.
It happened shortly before 1 a.m. Video from a city livestream shows the car crash at the Brooks Memorial Fountain. It drove into the fountain’s pool basin, which did not have water in it.
The fountain sits in the center of a large roundabout at the center of town. The images show the white sedan coming across the grass, hitting a bench and coming to a stop at the fountain. The driver reversed and drove forward again, trying to get out, but the car couldn’t clear the lip of the pool…
