A recent rash of mailbox robberies has a Milpitas community on edge, and looking for help…
Milpitas’ Traverse housing community, namely along Trento Loop and Odyssey Lane, has found its mailboxes vulnerable to theft. The Milpitas Beat received photograph and video evidence of an apparently male figure wearing a tan-brown hoodie, a black face covering, and black pants going mailbox by mailbox, opening them, and robbing them. Due to ongoing investigations, the images are not being made public.
The thefts, which have been occurring on and off for the past 2 years now, affect some 500 homes…
