Lubbock Fire Rescue aids local, state crews in Crosby County canyon rescue

Lubbock Fire Rescue crews joined other local and state first responders to help save a man who had fallen into a canyon Wednesday morning in Crosby County.

At approximately 9:45 a.m. Wednesday, Lubbock Fire Rescue received a mutual aid request from Crosby County 911 Center for assistance in extricating an individual who had fallen in a canyon while slipping off the caprock of their private land.
