Armed man demanding gasoline prompts Dakota County shelter-in-place

A late night door knock from a man with a shotgun demanding a can of gasoline prompted a short shelter-in-place warning for residents in Dakota County.

According to the Dakota County Sheriff’s Office, deputies were called to the area of Red Wing Boulevard and 200th Street in Ravenna Township around 10 p.m. Wednesday night.
