ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – It was a chase in southeast Albuquerque, where the driver hit two police cars and almost hit a pedestrian. In September, Albuquerque police were alerted to a stolen car spotted near Central Ave. and San Mateo Blvd. Officers tried to stop the stolen Mitsubishi, but the driver had other plans. The driver stopped before suddenly reversing back into the officer’s unit.

They then took off. As officers continued the chase, they ended up at University Blvd. and Lead Ave. where the driver almost hit another car trying to make a U-turn.
They then made it to University Blvd. and Gibson Blvd., where they cut into a gas station parking lot, missing a car. They then almost hit a pedestrian when they exited. From there, it was another U-turn onto Gibson, but the driver couldn’t flee because of traffic. Officers surrounded her, and she reversed into another officer’s unit. Finally stuck, officers ripped her from the car…
