$80 million Rio Rancho Public Schools bond approved by voters

RIO RANCHO, N.M. (KRQE) – Rio Rancho Public Schools will be seeing improvements as unofficial results show voters have approved $80 million on GO bonds for the district.

RRPS says money will go toward the construction of a new Pre-K, security upgrades, infrastructure improvements, renovations and athletic facility improvements at multiple campuses. As of Wednesday at noon, the district says unofficial results show the bond passed with an estimated 76% of the vote. The bond funds will be released in phases over the next four years.
