OVI checkpoint planned for part of Ohio on Friday

OHIO — Law enforcement officials in Mahoning County plan to conduct an OVI (operating a vehicle impaired) checkpoint on Friday, November 7, authorities said.

The checkpoint will be carried out by the Mahoning County OVI Task Force and will include saturation patrols to monitor impaired driving. Officials did not release the exact location or time of the checkpoint, saying those details will be announced the day of the operation.
