HORRY COUNTY, S.C. (WBTW) — Five homes in the Carolina Forest area are in the process of being seized by the U.S. Government in connection with a money laundering, drug trafficking, and terrorism scheme between Chinese and Mexican companies, a federal document says.
The five properties are listed in the lawsuit as homes in the following areas:
- 9000 block of Fort Hill Way
- 9000 block of Fort Hill Way
- 100 block of Calhoun Falls Drive
- 400 block of Calhoun Falls Drive
- 500 block of Calhoun Falls Drive
The document claims that these five properties have a total value of approximately $2,195,865.
