Increased pool monitoring will begin later this month in The Villages.
The Recreation Department will staff four neighborhood pools each for one week beginning Nov. 17 and continuing through Dec. 14. The idea is to collect data from the sites.
Recreation Department staff will scan pool users entering the pool and record information. After the preliminary data collection is complete, the Recreation Department will prepare a comprehensive report of findings and strategic recommendations, which will be presented at the January meeting of the Project Wide Advisory Committee, which had requested the study.
