Two Arrested in Connection with String of Robberies in San Joaquin County

SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY, CA — “On October 29, 2025, at approximately 11:00 p.m., San Joaquin County Sheriff’s deputies observed two individuals, later identified as Rayshawn Bryant and Joseph White, in the area of Sierra Nevada and Park Street — a location associated with a recent string of robberies.

When deputies attempted to contact them, both suspects fled on foot. During the pursuit, Bryant dropped a firearm and was later found to be wearing a bulletproof vest and in possession of an explosive device. White was detained a short distance away. Deputies recovered a black crossbody bag in his possession containing a loaded firearm and multiple bags of narcotics, which presumptively tested positive for fentanyl. Both Bryant and White were determined to be prohibited persons in possession of firearms and had active warrants. They were arrested and booked into the San Joaquin County Jail on multiple felony weapons and narcotics charges.”
