North Carolina man pleads guilty to attempted murder of Danville Police officer

DANVILLE, Va. (WSET) — A North Carolina man accused of shooting a Danville Police officer in February pleaded guilty in court on Thursday.

47-year-old Lucas Degier, of Wilmington, was facing multiple charges after shooting Officer Kayla Robinson in a hotel parking lot on Riverside Drive. At the time, Degier was being interviewed as a suspect in a hit-and-run.
