Skokie man accused of shooting woman during argument on North Side

CHICAGO — A suburban man accused of shooting and injuring a woman during an argument near a CTA Red Line stop on the city’s North Side on Monday is now facing a felony charge.

According to Chicago police, 28-year-old Justin Abbott, a Skokie resident, has been charged with one felony count of aggravated battery with the discharge of a firearm.
