Madison waves goodbye to peak-hour traffic lanes on Willy Street

The removal of peak-hour traffic lanes on Williamson Street will become permanent after a recent trial run and a unanimous vote Wednesday by Madison’s Transportation Commission.

The commission also plans to discuss reducing traffic lanes further east in the future on Willy Street, one of the city’s main east side thoroughfares.
