A 39-year-old man, Javon Carter, was fatally shot on November 3, 2025, in the Walnut Park East neighborhood of St. Louis. Police responded to a call at Prange and Genevieve Avenues. Officers found Carter with a gunshot wound to the chest. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
