Albuquerque realtor: Current housing market looks good for buyers

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — You might notice more houses for sale around the metro as the Albuquerque housing market is shifting inventories up and price cuts are back.

That’s according to Skip Adams, of Sold by Skip. Inventory is up 20%, the median sales price is $365,000, homes are on market for around 45 days and sales prices are 98% of the list price in Albuquerque.

“This is good news, if you’re buying. Sellers, guess what? Time to turn over the keys. You are no longer in the driver’s seat. We’ve got inventory up and values have really leveled out. So it’s a good opportunity for buyers if you’re looking in the right spot,” Adams said…
