Fresno Unified trustee accused of intimidating charter school parent

After a Golden Charter Academy parent raised concerns about a reported lack of access to the school’s curriculum, a Fresno Unified School District board member, with personal connections to the charter school, allegedly intimidated the parent, GV Wire reported.

Fresno Unified authorizes and oversees Golden Charter, which blends academics and nature-based learning. Board member Keshia Thomas, along with her son-in-law, former NFL player Robert Golden, is a founding member of Golden Charter.
