JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Clara White Mission is hosting a cleanup at Pinehurst Cemetery and celebrating the birthday of Dr. Eartha M.M. White on Saturday.
The veteran cemetery cleanup and flag placement ceremony is in honor of a pre-kick-off of Veterans Day and the birthday of Dr. White, who was a lifelong veterans advocate.
The event will bring together volunteers, veterans, civic groups, and community members to honor those who served by cleaning headstones, removing debris, and placing over 200 American flags at gravesites…
