HORRY COUNTY, S.C. (WPDE) — Two deputies were involved in a wreck on Highway 544 at Founders Drive while transporting an inmate Thursday afternoon, according to the Horry County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO).
At approximately 1:45 p.m., the deputies and the inmate were traveling westbound on Highway 544 when they were struck by another vehicle.
