King of Prussia carjacking lands Philadelphia man in jail

NORRISTOWN — A Philadelphia man is headed to jail on charges he carjacked a Lackawanna County couple who was shopping at the King of Prussia Mall in Upper Merion Township.

Tiyon Thomas-Hill, 21, of the 5900 block of Malta Street, was sentenced in Montgomery County Court to 11½ to 23 months in the county jail after he pleaded guilty to a felony charge of robbery of a motor vehicle in connection with the Nov. 16, 2024, incident on a mall parking lot.

Judge Steven T. O’Neill, who accepted a plea agreement in the case, also ordered Thomas-Hill to complete three years of probation consecutive to parole, meaning Thomas-Hill will be under court supervision for about five years. Thomas-Hill also must pay $1,000 restitution to the victims…
