Medical examiner asking for public’s help identifying man hit and killed

ROCHESTER, N.Y. — The Monroe County Medical Examiner’s Office is asking the public for help identifying a man who was hit by a car and killed while riding his bicycle.

The crash happened on Sunday, Oct. 19, around 7 p.m. in the city’s Marketview Heights neighborhood. The man was riding on Scio Street near Woodward Street when a car traveling in the other direction hit him. The driver wasn’t ticketed and Rochester Police say there were no signs of impairment.

The medical examiner describes the victim as a white male, possibly Hispanic, and likely in his 30s or 40s. He is about 5 feet 11 inches tall and weighs 144 pounds. He was wearing several rubber bracelets, rings, two necklaces, and two metal bracelets. The man also has a tattoo on his right lower arm that appears to be a name…
