Palm Beach Lakes Community High School’s marching band is still looking to raise about $30,000 to further reduce costs for band members who have been invited to perform in London’s New Year’s Day parade.
The band’s director, Joshua Velez, said about 83 band members have signed up to go and have put down a deposit toward the $4,045 per-student cost of the trip.
