The Cedar Park Police Department says its Major Crimes Unit has arrested several juveniles linked to a series of violent crimes and smash-and-grab burglaries across Central Texas.
Investigators, working with Austin ISD Police, uncovered a group of teens tied to aggravated assaults, firearm thefts, armed vehicle thefts, and break-ins targeting vape and liquor stores. Some suspects have prior violent criminal histories, including weapons and murder charges.
The case began in early October after burglars used stolen cars to crash through storefronts in Cedar Park and steal large amounts of merchandise.
