Texas authorities urge community action to end 25-year streak of road deaths

EL PASO, TEXAS (KFOX14/CBS4) — The Texas Department of Transportation, alongside local authorities, is urging the community to take action to prevent traffic fatalities.

On Thursday, TxDOT, the Texas Department of Public Safety, the District Attorney, the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office, and the El Paso Police Department hosted a conference to address daily traffic fatalities and announced a partnership and initiative to crack down on reckless driving.
