MILWAUKEE, WISCONSIN — A 26-year-old pharmacy student from Concordia University Wisconsin was fatally shot on Milwaukee’s north side Monday night, and police say a 31-year-old woman has been arrested in connection with the killing.
Authorities identified the victim as Ariel Spillner, of Arena, Wisconsin. The shooting occurred around 9:40 p.m. Monday in the 5100 block of North 39th Street, according to the Milwaukee Police Department.

Spillner was a student in the School of Pharmacy at Concordia University Wisconsin, a Lutheran institution based in Mequon.
