ST. LOUIS — The Buttery Restaurant, a longtime diner staple in St. Louis’ Tower Grove South neighborhood, has closed and will be put up for sale.
The business, at 3659 S. Grand Blvd., closed the last weekend of October and is now boarded up with “closed” and “no food or money inside” spray painted on the wood covering the eatery’s windows, longtime overnight employee, Bryan Kerbow, confirmed.
The restaurant’s owner, Ed O’Day of St. Louis, died Nov. 3 and had made arrangements before his death to close the business, Kerbow said…
