PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — A driver is dead after police said they eluded officers and crashed into a utility pole.
Just before 3:00 a.m. Friday morning, Portland police said they saw two vehicles driving recklessly near Southeast 119th Avenue, and when they tried to stop them, they both eluded.
A short while later, an officer came across one of the vehicles crashed into a utility pole at Southeast 148th Avenue and Southeast Division Street.
