ANCHORAGE, Alaska (KTUU) – The remains of 39-year-old Charles Eppard were recovered on Sunday, according to the Alaska State Troopers.
The human remains are believed to be the second of three out-of-state heli-skiers who were killed in March’s avalanche near Girdwood.
The remains of 39-year-old David Linder were recovered and identified in October. The remains of 38-year-old Jeremy Leif have yet to be found.
Eppard’s brother, Jon, told Alaska’s News Source earlier this year all three men who died were good friends on vacation together and they were part of a bigger group who had come to Alaska specifically to ski in the mountains. All of them grew up together in Mankato, Minn…
