19-year-old Sentenced To 50 Years In Prison After Shooting, Killing ‘Mentor’ In Landover

A 19-year-old man will serve 50 years in prison for murdering his “mentor” in Landover last February, the Prince George’s County State’s Attorney’s Office announced Wednesday.

Raymond Terry III, 19, of Landover, pleaded guilty to first-degree murder and use of a firearm in the commission of a violent crime in the shooting death of Vincent Fisher III, 26, of Landover.

Terry, according to authorities, shot Fisher when the two were inside an SUV in the 2000 block of East Marlboro Avenue on February 16th. According to the state’s attorney’s office, Terry shot Fisher from the backseat of his SUV, and another person was inside the vehicle during the shooting but was uninjured…
