AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) – An Academy of Richmond County teacher lost their job over an inappropriate photo sent to students, administrators said Friday.
The incident happened Thursday night, when the teacher sent the photo to students and staff members in a group text, parents were told Friday in a letter from ARC Principal Dr. Travis Wiggins.
An Aiken County substitute teacher has been arrested after he was accused of sexual battery, according to law enforcement officials.
“This behavior is considered unacceptable and does not reflect the standards or values of our school,” parents were told. “Administrators immediately addressed the situation in accordance with district policy and procedures.”…
