Freshwater Land Trust recently reported on its 2025 Endangered Species Tour, an event that allowed approximately 40 participants to observe endangered darter fish species in the Birmingham area.
According to the organization, attendees visited several locations where the watercress darter (Etheostoma nuchale) is found, including Seven Springs EcoScape, a site where this population was first documented in 2001.
