At about 3:50 p.m. Friday, those winds knocked a tree into the backside of a Dickson home. According to News 2’s partners at WDKN, no one was injured as a result of the fallen tree.

News 2’s partners also reported large power outages in the area. Trees have fallen along Highway 48N as well. White Bluff’s police chief also told News 2 there were multiple reports of trees down in the community.

Specifically, they mentioned a down tree at mile marker 187 of Interstate 40 West. Trees were also reported to block the area near 1685 Craggie Hope Road. They also reported flooding near 460 South Harpeth Road.

The Wilson County Emergency Management Agency posted that because of a potential for severe weather in the area, the Wilson County Storm Shelter has opened.
