HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) — The Huntsville International Airport (HSV) is accepting donations to support federal workers during the government shutdown.
Donations can be made starting today through Thursday, November 13. According to HSV, the donations will go towards benefiting workers of the Transportation Security Administration (TSA), the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), and members of the U.S. Customer & Border Protection team.

To donate items, please visit the Administrative Office at HSV, which is on the Second Floor above Baggage Claim.
Some items that the airport is collecting include:
- Nonperishable Food Items
- Cleaning & Laundry Supplies
- Baby Supplies
- Pet Supplies
- $10 Gas Gift Cards
