A Providence police officer and her 13-year-old daughter are recovering after a terrifying rollover crash in Lincoln over the weekend.
Officer Yesenia Caba and her daughter, Yailanee, were on their way to a volleyball tournament just after sunrise Sunday when they lost control of their car on Interstate 295 north near the Massachusetts state line. The vehicle rolled over, leaving both with serious injuries.
Caba suffered four fractured ribs and a punctured lung. Her daughter broke her femur, collarbone and nose. Despite their pain, both say they’re grateful to be alive…
