MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) — The Milwaukee Area Domestic Animal Control Commission (MADACC) is temporarily suspending intake of healthy cats.
They say this is a precautionary measure due to a recent increase in feline panleukopenia cases among outdoor and shelter cats. The virus spreads through direct contact with infected cats or their bodily fluids, or indirectly through contaminated food bowls, bedding, litter boxes, or clothing.
