JUST IN: Elmer Wayne Henley denied parole in ’70s Southeast Texas serial killing spree

Elmer Wayne Henley, convicted for his involvement in one of Southeast Texas’ most notorious crime sprees, has been denied parole, according to KPRC-TV in Houston.

KPRC-TV reported Friday that the Texas Board of Pardons and Paroles shot down Henley’s request for parole, citing Andy Kahan with Crime Stoppers of Houston.

Kahan confirmed with KPRC-TV that he received a message from the Texas Department of Criminal Justice indicating Henley would not be eligible for parole again until 2035, when he would be 79 years old…
