Auburn police, alongside Valley SWAT, served a search warrant at an Auburn home and arrested a man, but according to the department, the arrest was part of a larger narcotics investigation.
According to the Auburn Police Department (APD), on Oct. 22, with assistance from the Valley SWAT team, it served a search warrant at a residence located in the 300 block of Park Avenue in Auburn. According to APD, the suspect was arrested on the sidewalk near the residence while walking toward the home.
APD stated that the man was arrested on two outstanding warrants. The first warrant was a failure to appear, controlled substance possession warrant, and the second was for second-degree criminal trespass and obstructing a public servant warrant.
