Police have arrested a suspect in connection with a double homicide that occurred Friday in Shelby Township.
Around 5:45 a.m. Saturday, the Shelby Township Police Department’s Tactical Response Unit, with help from the Sterling Heights Special Response Team, executed a search warrant at a hotel near Detroit Metro Airport in Romulus.
Officers took the suspect into custody and recovered evidence related to the case from the hotel room. The suspect’s name will be released once arraigned…
