COMSTOCK TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) — A suspect is in police custody after a man was shot to death Friday night outside Kalamazoo.
Kalamazoo County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a 911 call reporting a shooting at Comstock Village Apartments on Comstock Village Lane near East H Avenue just before midnight Saturday. While there, they found a 35-year-old man who had been shot. Despite attempting “lifesaving efforts,” he was pronounced dead at the scene.
Deputies identified a suspect in the shooting and were able to take someone into custody, they said. The sheriff’s office is not releasing the names of the man who was shot or the person in custody at this time…
