KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WATE) — The 100th annual Veterans’ Day parade is preparing to march through downtown Knoxville on Tuesday, Nov. 11, to celebrate those who served in our country’s military.
Every year, it features floats, bands, cars, and lots of veterans receiving the recognition they’ve earned but haven’t always received for serving their country. The parade route leads from the Civic Coliseum, down Church Street, over to Gay Street, through downtown to Depot Avenue. For those unable to attend in person, 6 News will be live-streaming the parade beginning at 11 a.m. on air, WATE6+ and in this story.
